UltraMon 3 could be deemed a productivity tool for Windows. Just because it is hard to label it into a specific category. The application allows you to use several monitors and expand your desktop to more than one of them. Newer operative systems, like Windows XP or Windows Vista have features like this. Basically, you can move a window from monitor A to monitor B in real time. You can also specify "spaces" a la Mac that belong to specific monitors. Also, you can define shortcuts and hotkeys to manage your applications on both monitors. There is a smart menu, which is supposed to replace the Start menu on the second monitor, which provides some extended functionality. Furthermore, this application takes the place of your video driver and allows you to mirror your first monitor to a second device. This is an extremely useful feature for people who give conferences and need to display the contents of their computer in full resolution. This last feature is not productivity-based, but you can also mirror your wallpapers and screensavers.
Operate the Cubase functions from the DTX-MULTI 12 as a remote controller.
